Norbert Novenyi Jr. is on fire! Since leaving Bellator, he's proving he's a force to be reckoned with. It seems life after Bellator is treating Norbert Novenyi Jr. exceptionally well. Remember when he was hyped as one of the most promising talents during his time with the promotion? Well, after a setback against Dalton Rosta at the beginning of the PFL era, Novenyi (9-1) made his exit.
But here's where it gets exciting: He's been on a roll ever since. Last Friday, he kept the momentum going, submitting Madalin Pirvulescu (7-3) with a lightning-fast 96-second triangle choke at Hexagone MMA 36 in Hungary.
This victory brings Novenyi's post-Bellator record to a perfect 2-0. He's only 26 years old and competes in the middleweight division, which is always looking for fresh talent.
Could the UFC be calling his name? It's a question that's definitely on everyone's mind. What do you think? Do you see Novenyi making a splash in the UFC? Share your thoughts in the comments!
