Based in the US, Pahlavi, 65, encouraged the hoisting of the pre-1979 'lion and sun' flag, a symbol of his father's rule, stating that the Islamic Republic would be brought to its knees. He added, 'Our goal is no longer merely to come into the streets; the goal is to prepare to seize city centres and hold them.'
